A circular, brass-rimmed porthole with a cracked glass pane is mounted on a white wall. It is located at the National Museum of Tanzania in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania (latitude: -6.814, longitude: 39.294). A sign below the porthole explains that it is a window from the German warship Königsberg, sunk by the British Navy at the Rufiji River delta in 1916. The inscription is in both Swahili and English.
