The sculpture depicts a reclining human figure, sculpted in high relief on a rectangular stone slab. The figure, appearing to be male, is positioned with its head towards the top of the frame, its limbs bent and arranged across its torso and legs. Extensive green moss and white lichen growth obscure fine details but highlight the contours of the body and the rectangular base. The stone slab itself is chipped and fractured in several places, notably at the lower right corner where a detached piece of stone lies nearby. The surrounding ground is covered with a dense layer of dry, brown, fallen leaves and scattered twigs, indicative of a deciduous forest floor.
