The image depicts a waterfront scene in Unknown, Nigeria, under a hazy, light grey sky. In the foreground, a calm body of water, possibly a lake or large river, reflects muted light. The opposite shore features an eroded reddish-brown dirt bank. Dominating the background on the bank is a large, multi-story building with a distinctive curved, terracotta-colored roof. Its walls are light-colored, and it features multiple rows of large, rectangular windows, some appearing tinted or reflective. Along the immediate waterfront, elevated on stilts or platforms above the eroded bank, are several smaller structures. These hexagonal or octagonal buildings possess dark, conical roofs and numerous windows, resembling gazebos or small cabins. One such structure is built directly over the water on concrete pillars. Below this structure, a white and dark-colored boat is moored to the shore. The boat has an visible outboard motor and text, possibly "BEN" and other words, inscribed on its hull. White objects, consistent with birds, are present on the shore near the base of the water-mounted structure. A white pipe or cable descends the eroded bank near one of the elevated structures.
