No individuals are present in the scene. The fungi exhibit a tiered, overlapping arrangement, ascending from the lower-left to the upper-right of the frame. Newer, upper growths are predominantly white on their undulating upper surfaces, speckled with dark brown soil particles and minor debris. Some exhibit faint concentric rings. Older, lower growths display more pronounced dark brown to black concentric banding on their upper surfaces, with thick white or pale margins, and are often coated with a fine layer of reddish-brown granular material, likely spores or fine soil. The underlying tree material is dark, rough, and appears extensively decayed. Green foliage, consisting of various broad-leafed plants and thin vines, forms a soft-focus background and partially encroaches upon the tree trunk on the left side, indicating a natural, unmanaged environment.
