The image displays the neoclassical facade of the Saint Nicholas Church (Nikolayevsky Temple-Monument) at the Bratske cemetery, located on the Northern Side of Sevastopol, Ukraine. The church features a prominent light-colored portico with six fluted columns supporting a triangular pediment. At the apex of the roof, above the pediment, stands a golden Orthodox cross on a spherical base. The pediment itself is adorned with a relief sculpture depicting radiating lines, a central emblem resembling an eagle or sunburst, surrounded by what appear to be military and laurel motifs.

Below the pediment, a frieze with simple rectangular metopes and triglyphs extends across the top of the columns. The facade is predominantly light beige or cream-colored, showing signs of weathering and staining. Behind the portico, a central brown wooden double door with ornate metal hardware serves as the main entrance. Flanking the door, between the columns, are two tall rectangular mosaic icons. The left mosaic depicts a standing religious figure, illuminated by a small brass-colored lamp mounted above it. Below this mosaic, a small, light-colored pedestal or urn is visible. A dark rectangular plaque is affixed to the wall to the left of the left mosaic. The right mosaic, partially obscured by a column, also appears to depict a standing religious figure.

Three steps lead up to the portico. The foreground consists of a grey asphalt or paved surface with irregular dark patches, suggesting dampness or wear. Bare tree branches are visible in the upper left corner, extending over the church roofline against an overcast, light grey sky. A small evergreen bush is partially visible on the lower right, behind a low black metal fence or railing. No individuals are present in the frame.
