The shrine is built into a recess within a wall constructed from rough-hewn stones. Inside the shrine, a statue of the Virgin Mary is visible, lying horizontally and covered in a white cloth with a blue sash. The statue is enclosed within a glass case, and the front of the shrine is secured with a decorative black metal gate. Several red candle holders are affixed to the gate, and flowers are placed inside the shrine. Above the glass case, a curved sign is mounted, bearing text in a foreign language, possibly Slovenian. The sign reads "BREZDEZNO SPOCETJE SEM." A small surveillance notice, potentially indicating video recording, is attached to the inside of the shrine.
