The image displays the interior of the Cathédrale Saint-Pierre de Beauvais in Beauvais, France. A large stone sculptural monument occupies the central lower portion of the frame, depicting Joan of Arc as the central figure. She stands in armor, holding a vertical banner with a finial in her raised left hand, and extends her right arm forward and slightly downward. Below and slightly to her right, a robed adult figure kneels, looking upwards towards her, while a smaller, partially visible figure stands to her left. Behind the central figure are two rectangular stone bas-reliefs: the one on the left portrays a dense group of figures, and the one on the right shows several robed ecclesiastical figures engaged in interaction. Above the monument, three tall, lancet-style stained glass windows are visible. These windows are predominantly composed of blue and red glass, with geometric and figural patterns interspersed, allowing multicolored light to filter into the space and illuminate parts of the monument. The surrounding architectural environment consists of large, light-colored hewn stone blocks forming walls and robust fluted columns, characteristic of Gothic design. In the lower right foreground, a black, ornate wrought-iron candelabra with multiple spikes for candles is positioned.
