This is a mosaic depicting the Virgin Mary holding the infant Jesus, flanked by two bearded male figures in monastic robes, one on either side. The figures are framed within an archway, with a decorative tiled border running along the lower edge of the mosaic. Above the arch, there are further oval mosaics depicting angels. The overall style is consistent with Orthodox Christian iconography. This mosaic is located at the Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos in the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius, in Sergiyev Posad, Russia. The church itself is a significant architectural landmark within the monastery complex.
