A plaque commemorates Jim Morrison's death at age 27 in 1971. He frequented the Rock'n'Roll Circus in Paris, formerly Pamela's. After a fight with his girlfriend Pamela Courson, he acquired drugs for her. He later suffered a fatal restroom overdose. Manager Sam Bernett found him but avoided scandal, moving him to his apartment via a back exit. Pamela, allegedly aided by Agnes Varda, reported his bathtub death, allowing authorities to find him. This hidden truth remained concealed for years until a French journalist on television corroborated Bernett's long-maintained story. The plaque serves to honor those who wandered the rooms.
