This image depicts a dilapidated underpass or a structure beneath an elevated railway or bridge, located in the vicinity of the Green Theatre (Zelonyi Teatr) within the Kyiv Fortress historical complex, Pechersk district, Kyiv, Ukraine. The scene features a multi-layered overhead structure. At the top, a light gray, corrugated metal facade or roof is visible. Beneath this, a dark, angled undersurface consists of parallel diagonal slats. A wide, light-colored concrete beam forms the base of this upper structure. Directly below is a substantial concrete wall, exhibiting widespread staining, discoloration, and areas of missing material, revealing light-colored brickwork on the far left. The concrete wall is heavily covered with graffiti, primarily tags and bubble letters in black, gray, and white spray paint. A prominent piece in red spray paint, possibly reading "SPROT" or similar, is situated slightly right of center. On the far right, a dark, rectangular metal door, also marked with graffiti and showing signs of rust, is set into the wall, adjacent to a section of green graffiti. At ground level, immediately below the concrete wall, a low, light-colored brick wall or platform runs horizontally, partially obscured by overgrown vegetation. In front of this, parallel metal rails, resembling disused railway tracks, are embedded in the ground and heavily enveloped by dense green grass, weeds, and small plants, including clover with faint pinkish-white flowers. In the foreground, several parallel green metal bars, consistent with abandoned benches or seating, are partially visible, also surrounded by significant plant overgrowth. Patches of brighter green grass and a small bushy plant are visible in the mid-ground. Above the overhead structure, bright sky is visible, partially framed by the green foliage of deciduous trees. No people or animals are present.
