Short TermA tall, concrete bell tower stands against a clear blue sky. The tower is rectangular and monolithic, with vertical lines etched into its surfaces. Three large bells hang within the open upper section of the tower, suspended by cables. Below the bells, a blue metal structure is visible, possibly stairs or a maintenance platform. The base of the tower is surrounded by a grassy mound, and in the foreground, a concrete wall displays a row of small, rectangular plaques. Trees, some green and some with autumnal colors, are visible behind the tower. The overall impression is one of stark modernist architecture. The bell tower is a monument in the city of Bistritsa, Bulgaria, dedicated to the victims of the 1978 Balkan Airlines Flight 013 crash.
