The scene depicts an interior room within Vianden Castle, Vianden, Luxembourg. The space is constructed primarily of large, rough-hewn stone blocks forming walls and arched recesses. Two prominent, dark stone arches dominate the upper-mid section of the main wall, framing lighter, textured wall surfaces beyond. Between these arches, a light-colored, full-length statue of a standing human figure rests on a stone pedestal.
