This low-angle photograph depicts the highly ornate Baroque facade of the València Cathedral, specifically the Puerta de los Hierros (Porta dels Ferros), located in València, Spain. The structure is rendered in light-colored stone and viewed against a bright blue sky with sparse white clouds. The central lower portion of the facade features a prominent sculptural relief. This relief includes a large, crowned monogram composed of intertwined "M" and "A" letters, flanked symmetrically by two winged figures (angels) kneeling or resting on cloud formations. Several smaller cherubs are also integrated into this sculptural cluster. Above this central relief, an oval oculus window with a dark, possibly stained-glass, interior is visible. The facade is extensively decorated with multiple tiers of fluted columns, ornate capitals, friezes, and numerous additional sculptural reliefs depicting various figures and scenes. A cross surmounts the highest visible point of the central facade. To the left of the main ornate entrance, a section of the plainer, multi-story stone bell tower, El Miguelete, is visible, extending vertically towards the upper left corner of the frame. No individuals are present in the image.
