This head is attached by a dark, constricted, fabric-like neck to a bulbous, spherical object. This lower object has a mottled greenish-brown patina, suggesting a dried gourd or aged metal, and appears smooth and hard. The sculpture casts a subtle shadow to its right on the wall.
