This image captures a multi-figure stone monument situated within the Chapel of Saint Joan of Arc inside the Cathédrale Saint-Pierre de Beauvais, France. The scene is illuminated by natural light, including vibrant blue, red, and yellow hues cast from two large stained-glass windows positioned directly above the monument. The central figure of the monument is a standing female in full plate armor, identified as Joan of Arc, carved from light-colored stone. She holds an upright banner staff in her left hand and extends her right arm with an open palm. Her gaze is directed downwards and to the viewer's left. She stands on a low pedestal, with an ornate, rayed arch design behind her head. To her right, a male figure kneels on one knee, dressed in a simple, long religious robe. He looks up at the armored figure, holding what appears to be a large book or scroll with both hands. The monument includes relief carvings on panels behind the main figures. The left panel depicts a crowd of figures, some appearing as soldiers, with a smaller winged figure holding an escutcheon below them. The right panel shows several robed figures, possibly clergy or officials, observing the scene, with faint inscriptions visible at the base of this panel. The monument is set against a wall of light-grey rough-hewn stone, typical of Gothic cathedral architecture. To the right of the monument, a tall, black wrought-iron candelabra stands on the stone floor. It features multiple tiers with decorative scrollwork, holding two white pillar candles and numerous empty candle spikes. The floor consists of large, light-brown square tiles.
