Ngong wardKenya

The scene depicts a section of a light-colored wooden or plywood wall in Ngong ward, Kenya, characterized by visible wood grain and dark knots. Centrally positioned on the upper right side of the frame is a surface-mounted, light-colored electrical wall socket, into which a two-strand electrical wire is connected. The insulation of the wire appears stripped or damaged where it enters the socket. The wire extends vertically downwards, exiting the bottom of the frame. To the left of the electrical socket, two circular metallic medallions hang on the wall. The left medallion features a raised image, possibly religious, depicting a figure with a halo. The right medallion displays a relief image resembling a landscape or seascape with a small vessel. To the right of the electrical socket, a dark, irregularly shaped object, possibly a decal or small figurine resembling an elephant, is affixed to the wall. Shadows are cast downwards and to the right from the hanging medallions and the wire, suggesting a light source from the upper left. No individuals or actions involving individuals are depicted.
