A prominent, fully bloomed orange daylily with six petals and visible yellow stamens is centered in the lower half of the frame. To its right, a withered, brown bloom stalk extends horizontally. In the upper background, three additional orange daylilies are visible, two in full bloom and one partially obscured. Green, strap-like foliage characteristic of daylilies surrounds the flowers. To the left, several vertical, yellowish-green stems with small buds or spent flower structures rise from the ground.
