WyethUnited States

A vertical composition depicts Wyeth Falls, located in Wyeth, Oregon, United States. A narrow stream of water cascades down a dark, columnar basalt cliff face, appearing white and turbulent as it descends. The rock face is heavily textured, with visible fractures and a covering of dark green moss and lighter green lichen, particularly on elevated sections. Dense green deciduous foliage and trees flank the cliff on both sides, with additional vegetation growing along upper ledges. A slender tree with light green leaves protrudes directly from the upper part of the cliff, adjacent to the waterfall's origin point. The upper sky is light blue and brightly illuminated, while the lower two-thirds of the scene are predominantly in shadow, rendering the water and rock in darker tones. No human subjects, structures, or artificial objects are present.
