The stairs are painted with various simple, black insect-like figures and geometric designs. The bottom step is adorned with a large black spider, a rudimentary spiderweb, and a small orange oval. Ascending the stairs, the next steps feature abstract designs including a stylized house-like shape with three white dots, and a pair of black bunny-like figures. Progressing upwards, there are more abstract figures including a black bird-like shape, leading up to the top landing. The walls on either side of the stairs are also concrete, with the wall on the right being a tan, rock-like surface. Graffiti is visible at the top of the stairs, under an opening leading outside.
