Six individuals are visible: two adult males walk away from the viewer on the road in the center-left, and a third individual, possibly a child, walks alone further down the road toward the building. Three children are gathered on the sandy ground near the base of the building on the right. On the right side of the frame, a multi-story, light-tan residential building with distinctive architectural elements dominates. It features arched decorative recesses, white balustraded balconies, and numerous windows, many secured with metal grilles. Clothes are hanging to dry on several balconies. The ground floor of the building is characterized by a series of open arches, beneath one of which a red sedan car is partially parked in shadow.
