The turtle's head is right at the waterline, and we can clearly see its eyes and snout. The water in the aquarium is a little murky. At one point, a metal object is inserted into the aquarium near the turtle's face. The turtle reacts slightly, then the metal object is removed, and the turtle continues to rest in the water. The bottom of the tank is lined with dark substrate.
