The image depicts a daytime street scene at the intersection of Highway 99 (Sea-to-Sky Highway) and Mamquam Road in Squamish, British Columbia, Canada, viewed from inside a vehicle traveling northbound on Highway 99. In the immediate foreground, the top edge of a vehicle's dashboard or windshield frame is visible. Directly ahead, a dark green Toyota Tacoma pickup truck (Washington license plate WA-2976) occupies the lane, stopped at a red traffic light. To the right of the Tacoma, a white SUV with illuminated taillights and a portion of another dark vehicle are visible, also stopped in traffic. To the left of the Tacoma, in a separate lane, a light blue van and other vehicles are stopped. Overhead, a series of traffic lights span the road. Three red circular lights are illuminated for straight-ahead traffic, while a green arrow is visible for the left-turn lane. A pole on the left side of the road features a sign that reads "LEFT TURN SIGNAL ON DEMAND." Multiple overhead power lines cross the upper portion of the frame. The background is dominated by a majestic mountain range under a clear blue sky dotted with numerous large, white cumulus clouds. The Stawamus Chief, identifiable by its large, lighter rock face, is prominent on the left, with the rugged, forested peaks of the Tantalus Range extending to the right. At the base of the mountains, along the roadside, evergreen trees and some distant buildings are visible. The scene is brightly lit by natural sunlight.
