A dark stone bust of Georgi S

Moment
SofiaBulgaria

A dark stone bust of Georgi S. Rakovski, depicting a man with a mustache and a formal suit, is centrally positioned atop a tall, dark gray granite pedestal. The bust faces slightly to the viewer's left. The pedestal bears inscriptions in Bulgarian: "ГЕОРГИ С. РАКОВСКИ" (GEORGI S. RAKOVSKI) followed by his birth and death dates "IV. 1821 - X. 1867". Below, a quote reads: "„Любовта към Отечеството превъзхожда всички световни добрини!"" (The love for the Fatherland surpasses all worldly goods!). At the base of the pedestal, further text states: "От Сдружение Футболен клуб Левски - Раковски София, Април 2021" (From Association Football Club Levski - Rakovski Sofia, April 2021). Behind the monument, a white single-story building with a red terracotta tiled roof and blue eaves is visible. A small, rectangular window with white and blue trim is present on the building's facade. A rough stone chimney rises from the roof on the right. A large green leafy tree partially obscures the upper left portion of the building and the sky. The base of the monument is surrounded by well-trimmed dark green conical bushes. In the foreground, green grass with patches of small white flowers is visible. A metal chain-link fence and a small blue sign with partial white text "Ф" and "1913" are present in the left background, behind the bushes. On the right, a silver car, partially obscured by bushes, shows a portion of its front bumper and a Bulgarian license plate beginning with "BT 322". The sky above is clear blue with minimal wispy clouds. This monument is located in Sofia, Bulgaria, and was erected by the "Levski - Rakovski Football Club Association" in April 2021. Given the club's name, it is likely situated at or near the Stadion Rakovski, located in the Ivan Vazov district of Sofia.
