A large African elephant is observed in profile within an outdoor enclosure in Garun Gawa, Nigeria. The elephant, with grey, wrinkled skin and prominent ears, faces towards the right side of the frame. Its left front foot rests on a textured, weathered grey concrete mound. The elephant's trunk extends downwards, making contact with a damaged grey cinder block wall which exhibits horizontal cracks. Two tusks are visible, with the right tusk appearing longer. In the mid-ground, behind the elephant's lower body, a horizontal metal railing is present above a patch of dry, light-brown vegetation. The background features sparse trees with green foliage under a bright sky. Partially visible through the vegetation are light-colored buildings with dark rectangular openings.
