A single peacock is observed perched on a thick, horizontal tree branch within an aviary enclosure in Jiulongpo District, China. The bird's body, facing away from the viewer, is largely silhouetted against an overcast, light gray sky. Its long, dark tail feathers hang vertically downwards.
