A weathered Baroque stone relief is centrally positioned on the facade of the Basilica of Santa Maria del Pi in Plaça del Pi, Ciutat Vella, Barcelona, Spain. The primary subject is a grey stone carving of a young, draped figure, identified as the Infant Jesus, holding a large cross over its left shoulder while its right foot rests upon a globe. A circular halo is depicted behind the figure's head. This central carving is encased within an elaborate, multi-layered frame adorned with scrollwork, acanthus leaves, and other classical decorative elements. Flanking the lower portion of the central frame are two additional ornate, urn-like motifs with swirling foliate details. Directly beneath the central figure, a smaller carved cherub's head with stylized wings emerges from scrollwork. Below this, a partially visible Latin inscription is carved into the stone, beginning "IN NOMINE IESU OMNE GENU." The surrounding building facade is constructed from textured stone blocks, some rectangular, others diamond-shaped. The stone exhibits uniform discoloration, weathering, and minor biological growth consistent with age and environmental exposure. No human figures are present.
