A primary specimen, characterized by a wide, flattened cephalon, two distinct antennae extending forward, dark eyes, and visible segmented pereiopods with prominent claws, is centrally positioned. Several other isopods of similar size and appearance are visible beneath and adjacent to the main subject, arranged in a pile. The creatures are contained within clear water, with the water surface exhibiting ripples or condensation at the top of the frame. A dark, possibly grated, substrate is discernible at the bottom of the tank. The isopods appear alive and stationary within their enclosure.
