The scene captures an upward view of a meticulously decorated ceiling and the upper section of a large, gilded structure. The ceiling features a prominent central golden lotus medallion with multiple layers of petals. Radiating outwards from this central element are concentric rings of dark reddish-brown panels, separated and bordered by continuous golden Greek key (meander) patterns. Each panel contains a golden relief sculpture of a seated Buddha figure in a meditative pose, uniformly arranged throughout the visible dome-like ceiling. In the lower foreground, partially obstructing the ceiling, stands the upper portion of a large golden structure.
