VarnaBulgaria

The scene depicts the interior of an illuminated aquarium, stated to be located in Varna, Bulgaria. Two individual guppy fish (Poecilia reticulata) are prominent in the upper half of the tank. Both fish possess light-colored bodies and display vibrant orange caudal (tail) fins. One fish is positioned in the upper-left quadrant, oriented slightly forward and left. The second fish is in the upper-right quadrant, oriented slightly forward and right. The lower half of the aquarium contains live aquatic vegetation. A broad-leafed plant in the lower-left foreground exhibits numerous small, white, circular deposits on its surface, consistent with calcium deposits or certain types of algae, and also shows some dark, filamentous growth along its edges. Another broad-leafed plant is visible towards the center-right. Further to the right, a dense cluster of slender, grass-like aquatic plants is heavily covered in dark, stringy filamentous algae. The water column contains numerous small, bright, reflective particulate elements and air bubbles, particularly concentrated near the water surface, where several distinct air bubbles appear as inverted hemispheres. A dark, indistinct object, possibly a component of an aquarium filter or heater, is partially visible along the upper left edge of the frame. The background is a darker, indistinct area, likely the back wall of the tank, with subtle light reflections.
