Below the sky, an expanse of calm sea exhibits a color gradient from deep blue at the distant horizon to a lighter turquoise closer to the shore, where minimal wave activity is visible. On the far horizon, a faint landmass or mountain range with visible white, possibly snow-capped, peaks is discernible above the sea. The right side of the frame is dominated by a steep, eroding cliff face composed of yellowish-brown rock. This cliff is densely covered with numerous green coniferous trees and thick undergrowth, which extends down to a narrow, light-toned strip of rocky and sandy beach along the water's edge. No human figures, animals, or artificial structures are present.
