The scene depicts an outdoor enclosure or animal area in Leskovets, Bulgaria, under bright daylight. In the foreground and midground, four adult helmeted guineafowl (Numida meleagris) with characteristic grey, white-spotted plumage and reddish facial markings are observed on a dry earth and sparse grass surface. Three of the guineafowl are positioned with their heads lowered, actively foraging or pecking at the ground. A slender, light-colored tree trunk rises vertically in the central midground. To the far left, two weathered wooden barrels are present; one stands upright with two dark brown plastic pots stacked on its top, and another is partially visible next to it. A dark green metal grid fence separates the foreground from the background. Behind this fence, to the left, a black and white goat is lying down, resting on a sandy surface.
