Location: Sharada, Nigeria. Five deceased, fully plucked chickens are laid out on a soiled white woven polypropylene sack, which rests directly on barren, light brown dirt ground. Each chicken is headless, with feet intact, and exhibits residual blood and red tissue around the severed neck area and vent. The ground surrounding the sack is extensively scattered with numerous feathers of varying colors (white, brown, black) and organic debris. Several small, light-colored broken shards, possibly ceramic, are present on the ground to the lower right. No individuals or active processes are visible in the scene.
