A circular brass or bronze floor medallion is centrally embedded in a multi-patterned marble floor within Città del Vaticano, Vatican City. The medallion features an ornate openwork design. Its central element is a papal tiara surmounting crossed keys, encircled by the Latin inscription "POLITICA . PII . XI . ANNO . MCMXXIX . DOMINI," which translates to "Politics of Pius XI, Year 1929 A.D." Decorative motifs include scrolling foliage, stylized flowers, and two horizontally oriented fish or dolphins positioned at the left and right quadrants.
