The ground immediately surrounding the base of the tomb consists of dirt with scattered dry leaves and sparse green vegetation. A section of paved bricks forms an edge along the lower-left corner of the frame. In the background, under a clear sky, numerous other grave markers and sculptural monuments are visible, interspersed among deciduous trees with bare branches, suggesting late autumn or winter. Some of these background sculptures appear to be bronze or dark-colored figures, including winged statues and standing or seated human forms. The low-angle sunlight casts soft illumination across the scene.
