The scene depicts a marina in Limenas Avdiron, Greece, under an overcast sky. The upper third of the image is dominated by a uniform, light grey, cloudy sky. The lower two-thirds consists of dark teal-green water with a rippled surface. In the foreground, two spherical buoys, one pink and one orange, float in the lower-left. Mid-ground, a line of boats is moored along the shore. Three large white sailboats with tall, bare masts and visible rigging are prominent on the left and center-left. Their hulls are white, and some deck areas are covered with grey tarps. To the right of these sailboats, a series of smaller vessels are moored, including a red-hulled boat and several white fishing or utility boats. A black rectangular buoy floats in the water among these smaller boats. The shoreline features a light-colored building complex with a substantial white or cream-colored canopy structure extending over a patio area, suggestive of a restaurant or cafe.
