A close-up, eye-level photograph depicts a single, fully bloomed yellow dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) in the city of Kazanlak, Bulgaria
A close-up, eye-level photograph depicts a single, fully bloomed yellow dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) in the city of Kazanlak, Bulgaria. The vibrant yellow capitulum, composed of numerous ray florets, occupies the central and upper portion of the frame. Beneath the flower, several broad, dark green, serrated basal leaves are visible, some showing minor tears or brown discoloration. To the lower left, a grey, coarse-grained surface, resembling concrete or stone, is present. A small, partially obscured red object with black spots, consistent with a ladybug (Coccinellidae), rests on this grey surface. The background consists of out-of-focus green grass and foliage. No human figures or direct interactions are evident.
