Two unhusked green coconuts lie on light brown, fine-grained sand in Lhokseumawe, Indonesia. The foreground coconut is oval-shaped, predominantly bright green with a few dark blemishes and two shallow vertical cuts on its upper surface. The background coconut is rounder, a darker green with more extensive brown and dark patches. The sandy surface is littered with various small debris, including a blue and white plastic-tipped stick, a small green plastic fragment, a red plastic piece, several torn white paper or plastic fragments, a brown ring-shaped object, and dried organic matter. Partial views of dark-colored objects, consistent with footwear (a sandal sole in the lower right and a shoe or sandal segment in the upper left), are visible at the edges of the frame.
