Stake attention in this memory
This is a bas-relief carving of Jesus Christ with eleven other figures, presumably his apostles. Jesus is in the center, standing and wearing a red robe. He is pointing upwards with his right hand, and his left hand is raised with his palm facing outwards. His chest and abdomen are exposed, revealing wounds. The other figures are arranged around him, some standing and some kneeling or sitting. They are all men, with beards and wearing robes in various earthy tones. Their expressions range from awe to questioning. The carving is set within an arched niche adorned with ornate plasterwork. The figures appear to be made of wood and have been painted. The carving is located on the exterior of the St. Nicholas Cathedral in Prešov, Slovakia.
