An information panel, oriented vertically, displays text in both Italian and English, likely within a museum setting. The panel is a light grey rectangle with a dark grey strip at the bottom. The background appears to be a stone or tiled floor. At the bottom right, part of a black display stand base is visible. The text on the panel details a model of the Chapel of Princes by Liborio Bracci and Pietro Pertici, based on Ferdinando Ruggieri's design from 1740. It explains that Anna Maria Luisa de' Medici (1667-1743), the last member of the ruling Medici family, dedicated her final years to restoring the basilica and completing the Chapel of Princes. The original exterior cladding of the chapel in pietra forte stone reached only the drum of the dome, lacking interior or exterior decoration. The model, made of wood and plaster, illustrates Ruggieri's proposed design, which included large bell-shaped windows edged in white marble, replacing 17th-century windows and oculi. The exterior vault, lengthened and tiled, and its lantern and marble ribs were inspired by Brunelleschi's cathedral dome. The text notes that construction ceased upon the death of the Electress Palatine, and consequently, both the ribs and the lantern were omitted in the chapel's eventual construction. The panel is from the "MUSEO DELLE CAPPELLE MEDICEE" (Museum of the Medici Chapels), located in Florence, Italy.
