Four Balinese Hindu ritual offerings (canang sari) are meticulously arranged within a light-brown woven basket, located in North Kuta, Indonesia. Each offering is contained within a shallow, boat-shaped receptacle made of light-green plant material, filled with an assortment of fresh flower petals in vibrant shades of pink, red, yellow, purple, and light blue. A mound of finely shredded green material is centrally placed in each container. Three of the four offerings include a single, round, light-brown biscuit (cracker) with small perforations, resting on the green material. The upper-right offering features approximately six to seven thin, brown incense sticks with yellow tips, standing vertically amidst the petals and green material. The larger basket exhibits a distinctive diagonal criss-cross weave pattern. No human subjects are present in the scene, which is illuminated by soft, diffused light.
