The scene depicts an exterior view of a weathered building facade in Makiivka, Ukraine. A single, vertically oriented, heavily rusted metal door, colored a deep reddish-brown, is centrally positioned. Two external hinges are visible on the right side of the door, and a small, crumpled white sticker or paper fragment adheres to its surface below the center. A dark, small knob or handle is discernible on the right edge of the door, near the bottom. To the left and right of the door, the wall is composed of a light-colored, textured material, possibly stucco or concrete, exhibiting cracks and discoloration. A prominent vertical crack extends from the roofline downwards on the wall section to the left of the door. Above a low-pitch, corrugated gray roof, an upper wall section displays extensively faded and peeling paint in shades of reddish-orange and yellow-brown. The corrugated roof, likely constructed from asbestos cement sheets, extends horizontally above the door. Mounted above this roof and affixed to the upper wall is a horizontal metal rail structure, from which another dark metal support extends diagonally downwards. Several dark, irregular pieces of weathered wood or branches rest on the corrugated roof. A deflated, dirty, yellow and black soccer ball is wedged horizontally between the upper metal rail structure and the wall directly above the door. Green vegetation, including assorted grasses and small plants with bright green leaves, grows along the base of the wall and door. The scene is illuminated by strong, direct sunlight, casting distinct shadows. A long, diagonal shadow from the overhead metal structure extends across the upper portion of the door and onto the wall to its left. Shadows from the vegetation are also present on the lower sections of the wall. No individuals are present within the frame.
