MonterreyMexico

A vibrant, multi-colored mural, located in Monterrey, Mexico, depicts a large stylized Calavera (sugar skull) on a textured wall. The skull, rendered in golden-brown tones with dark brown shading, occupies the central and right portions of the image. Its eye sockets are large, dark, and rectangular, outlined with scalloped patterns in yellow, orange, and purple. The nose is a dark, inverted heart shape. A wide, open mouth reveals two rows of dark brown teeth. Green swirling vine-like patterns decorate the skull's forehead, cheeks, and jawline, with a small red rose and green leaves positioned near the lower right jaw. The background transitions from a bright fuchsia-pink on the right to darker blue/black segments with intricate mandala-like patterns in lighter blues, reds, and oranges on the left and upper left. Numerous stylized flowers in various sizes and colors surround the skull, including prominent red, light purple, dark blue, light blue, orange, and yellow blooms. The lower left foreground features several long, green and reddish-brown plant leaves partially obscuring the mural. A small portion of a textured, light brown object or structure is visible in the bottom right corner.
