The sculpture exhibits environmental wear, including dark grey and black discoloration, likely from dirt or organic growth, particularly on the lower left and base. Small, brownish-orange fragments of debris are lodged near the child's left leg, on the base of the sculpture. The background surface is textured, resembling rough-hewn stone or concrete. An inscription is partially visible on the bottom right, featuring names such as "GANI SAKA BONI" and the year "2000." This sculpture is located in the city of Lokoja, Nigeria.
