The image depicts the upper and central portion of the Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur, situated on Montmartre hill in Paris, France. The structure is composed of light-colored stone, featuring a dominant central dome with a ribbed lower section, surmounted by a circular lantern and a cross. Multiple smaller, conical domes or towers, also topped with crosses, are visible on either side of the main dome. A large, standing stone sculpture of Jesus Christ, with outstretched arms, occupies a central arched niche on the facade. Below this sculpture, the Latin inscription "COR JESU SACRATISSIMUM" is carved into the stonework. Further below, on the visible lower facade, several arched window openings and additional niches containing smaller sculpted figures are present.
