This is a low-angle, vertical photograph taken outdoors of a multi-tiered structure in the city of Pare, Indonesia. The structure appears to be under construction or recently built, with elements of unfinished building visible at the lower levels. The main focus is on the upper sections, which are designed with square pillars and flat, cantilevered roofs. The pillars are decorated with a pattern of alternating dark grey and light grey horizontal bands. The underside of the roofs is painted a lime green color, with dark grey trim along the edges. The structure is partially obscured by a concrete pillar in the foreground, which is on the left side of the image. To the right of the pillar is a fence made of vertical bamboo poles, some of which are tied together with string. A single bamboo pole leans against the fence. Behind the fence, part of a building is visible, with unfinished walls and windows. Green foliage, possibly sugar cane, is visible behind the fence on the right side of the image. Overhead, dark power lines crisscross the sky, which is overcast with a pale blue-grey hue. A wooden ladder is propped up on the structure, leaning against one of the pillars. A small, cage-like structure is visible on the top level of the building. The ground in the foreground is a rough, paved surface.
