Several dark green, somewhat hirsute leaves are visible at the base and sides of the prominent bloom. This plant is rooted in dark brown soil, containing small pieces of organic matter, within a dark brown, smooth-textured rectangular planter. Behind the planter, a grey wall with a coarse, textured surface, possibly concrete or painted stucco, extends upwards.
