A close-up image depicts a cluster of approximately six prominent orange fruits, varying in size from spherical to ovoid, attached to a robust green plant stem. The largest fruits measure roughly 1.5 to 2 cm in length. One fruit located at the upper right displays a distinct crescent-shaped bite mark or abrasion, exposing a lighter, pale interior flesh. Another ovoid fruit positioned at the lower left of the cluster exhibits an irregular white patch on its surface. Interspersed among the larger fruits are several smaller, undeveloped or shriveled orange-green buds. At the base of the fruit cluster, the main stem transitions to a section with dry, brown fibrous material. A single slender, dark brown, dried root or tendril descends vertically from the cluster. A large, out-of-focus green leaf, showing subtle lighter green variegation, occupies the left foreground.
