Four transparent, oversized light bulb-shaped lanterns are suspended from the bare branches of a sycamore tree (Platanus sp.) in Lovech, Bulgaria. The tree exhibits mottled bark and numerous slender, leafless branches, many bearing small, dark, spherical seed pods. The sky is clear blue. Each lantern contains a string of small, unlit fairy lights. One lantern hangs from a thick, central branch in the upper portion of the frame, secured by a thin wire. Three additional lanterns are clustered towards the lower right, suspended from thinner branches by similar means. The scene is brightly illuminated by daylight. No individuals are present.
