A full-body view of a Japanese samurai armor (yoroi) is displayed centrally in an indoor exhibition space. The armor features a dark metallic helmet (kabuto) adorned with a prominent crescent-shaped maedate (front crest). Below the helmet, a dark metallic facial mask (menpo) covers the lower face, featuring a white faux mustache and goatee. The neck and upper chest are protected by layered metallic or lacquered plates laced with brown and blue cords, forming the gorget (nodowa) and parts of the cuirass (do). Shoulder guards (sode) are constructed from similar laced plates, primarily in blue, gold, and muted metallic tones.
