The image depicts an unpaved ground surface in Ngong ward, Kenya. A V-shaped, concrete-lined drainage ditch, approximately 30-40 cm wide, extends diagonally from the upper left to the lower right. The concrete lining is worn and partially covered with fine sediment. To the left of the ditch is a coarse, grey, gravelly dirt path. To the right of the ditch, the ground rises into an uneven dirt bank featuring patches of green grass and exposed rocks. Within the ditch, a small turquoise cylindrical object, approximately 5 cm in length, is visible near the center. Further up the ditch, near the upper right, indistinct dark fragments are present. In the extreme upper left corner of the image, the lower section of a dark, indistinct object, possibly an animal's limb or dark footwear, is partially visible on the gravel path. No human figures are present.
